I am 47. I've been 47 for awhile and I'm going to keep being 47. I live in the desert somewhere near Phoenix. I was dropped here nearly 12 years ago by a spacecraft. That is the only explanation I have for being here. The problem is this, however. The spacecraft forgot to come back and return me to Huntington Beach. I am sad.

We have been here for sometime now. During these years the girls have called this place and state "home."

Me? I swore I would die in California as that is where I call home. But, too expensive to live there and the girls won't budge from Arizona so, looks like we're stuck until they're out of school.

Both of my parents are now gone having died within 11 months of one another. I have not taken these losses well. Matter of fact, I am only now coming out of my state of grief somewhat and am doing better but my emotional well being has been tested to the extreme.

I do not think I could survive this kind of loss again and I do not think I will ever be the same.
